I am so happy to share another #5WaystoDIY project with you! Last time, we all did a wooden tray and this time we decided to make over a pillow 5 different ways- it was the most popular request in the comments last time!

Now, for the pillow! AllModern provided each blogger with a pillow to makeover. I jumped on the pink pillow and did a gold sequin lip. Seriously, this was so easy it is almost embarrassing to call it a tutorial. I was really nervous and thought it wouldn’t work out. It took me minutes!!

How to Make A No Sew Sequin Lip Pillow!
Materials:
Pillow
Sequin Trim
E6000 Glue
Lip Outline
Tape
* I used glue because I suck at cannot sew and was told fabric glue would not work well on sequins from the sewing people at Hobby Lobby. If you can sew, use the fabric glue to put it in place, let dry and sew!
Unzip and remove the pillow cover from the pillow. Place a piece of cardboard/paper inside of pillow cover so you do not glue everything together.
Print out your lip outline here, cut out the lip and tape it to your pillow.
Lay your sequin on the outline and gradually glue following the outline.
Let dry and put a pillow in!
MUWAH!!
In these photos, you also see a side of my house never shown- a crazy corner of my house covered with plants. I am not the cat lady, I am the plant lady. I never take photos here because the lighting is not great but I just love the pink pillow with all the green! (this is also maybe 1/10th of my plants, I cant keep them alive, my husband thankfully does) My house is pretty much plants and a few pieces of furniture, except my office-thats like a disco ball glitter flamingo explosion.
Oh and if anyone has tips on ferns not shedding everywhere- please let me know!
