I love the thrift store, it inspires so many of my projects because I am a cheapskate and find crafty materials there all the time and since I never know what I will find, I never know what I may do next! I scored a huge lot of iron on transfer papers for $1 and here is my first DIY with them- I pretty much want to iron on transfer all the things now… it was SO flipping easy.
Materials:
Iron on Transfer Paper
Printer
Tote Bag (I really like Darby Smart’s tote bag, I have purchased the thinner ones at craft stores but these are perfecto- heavier, thick and only $3)
Scissors or Paper Trimmer

If you make your own phrases, remember to do the mirror image in your design (click the printables above to see what I mean)
Print out your phrase and trim the paper down. Lay your tote on a pillowcase and iron the tote to remove any wrinkles before applying. Lay your paper down and iron! Since these are large, I ironed for 3 minutes, hold the iron down firmly and pay attention to the corners!
Let it cool and remove the paper- I did this pretty slowly, I was scared to mess any letters up!
